Welcome to my website! First: It could be that you expected the complete site to transform into English. Unfortunately, the Dutch site already takes a lot of time to maintain, so you will only find a description of my website here.
My name is Menno Voorloop. I was born in 1988 in Purmerend (a small town about 18 kilometers above Amsterdam) which remains my place....
As early as 4 years old, I started to get interested in electronics and therefore started a website in 2001. That website was then located on the webspace of the provider XS4ALL. Via the buttons on the left side you can choose one of my hobbies, but you can also find the news about site-updates.
The OV-page (PT-page) is the largest sub-page of my website and will open in a new window. Born in a family without a car but with great (bus)transport in the city and surrounding areas, I don't know any better than that most trips involve the use of Public Transport.
I was very young when I got the modelrailroading experience by the modelrailroad-track of my late grandfather. No generation has been spared: also my father has had his own modelrailroad. Together with my brother we both had a small modeltrack for a couple of years. You can find all kinds of weatherphoto's on the 'weerpagina'. Varying from lightning to something much more relaxing like a sun dog all the pictures have been made by me. Besides some other stuff you can find a lot of electronics under 'Experimenten'. Unfortunately, this section will not be updated much more, as many electronic-hobbyists, me included, will experience the 'usability-problem': If the circuit has no use, it is no fun at all. Under 'Mijn links' all kinds of links to other websites can be found, mainly by people with the same interests as me. Sometimes something new will appear, but big changes are not to be expected on these pages. The 'Contact' button speaks for itself ofcourse: a remark or question about the website or one of my hobbies is very welcome. If you want to go back to the Dutch page: please click the flag in the upper right. |
